TL;DR
A-Star Tuitions students have consistently achieved top GCSE grades from 2019 through 2025. In 2024, 95% of students achieved grades 7-9 in all four GCSE subjects: Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Results like these come from structured preparation and consistent work across the full academic year. And a disappointing result is not the end; many successful people have used early setbacks as motivation. The full year-by-year breakdown is below.

Key Takeaways
In multiple years, 100% of students achieved grades 7-9 in at least one subject.
Grade 9 achievement rates have ranged from 25% to 55% of all students.
A-Star Tuitions covers Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at GCSE level.
Consistent, structured preparation is what drives results -- not last-minute revision.
Prior to every year's GCSE Results day, many students and parents are understandably quite anxious. But we always tell our students: there is nothing to be worried about, as results are just a reflection of the amount of hard work you have put in.
However, even if the results are not as per your expectation, it is not the end of the world. There are numerous examples of inspirational and successful people in this world who did not get disappointed with their results and stop, but used it to fuel their ambition to achieve greater success in life.
We always encourage parents to celebrate the success of their children all the way.
GCSE Results Day is an important milestone for students, marking the reward for years of hard work. Among all subjects, Maths and Science GCSEs often carry particular weight. Strong grades in these subjects open doors to A-level courses, apprenticeships, and future careers in fields such as engineering, medicine, technology, and finance.
Every year, the GCSE Results week is a very exciting time for us. We are overjoyed with the love and support from students and parents alike when we receive their phone calls, messages and emails pouring in, narrating the success stories of their children, who we had the privilege and pleasure to nurture through their secondary school journey.
