GCSE 2021 Delayed

Summer exams will start on 7 June and end on 2 July 2021 for almost all GCSE students. The Education Secretary advised, "Fairness to pupils is my priority, and will continue to be at the forefront of every decision we take in the lead up to exams next summer."

The Department for Education (DfE) has said there will be a change to the ordinary timetable in light of disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

We welcome this decision as this demonstrates that the Government is taking necessary steps to place due importance to the well-being and safety of children. In light of this development, students will be able to prepare and cover concepts better and have more time for practice and gaining confidence over their subjects.
